Nancy A Harding, 84 born Jan. 21, 1933 passed June 10, 2017. Mother, grandma, Aunt, educator, history buff, storyteller. Born in Boaz, AL to Nora Lee and Clark E Johnson Sr. Graduate of Jacksonville State University she taught children in all grades. Teaching in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Okinawa, Japan and finally landing in Leeds. She taught for a total of 38 years in the State of Alabama. Ever the educator in later life she taught her Sunday School Class at Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church. It will not go unnoticed by any of her colleagues...

Born in Boaz, AL to Nora Lee and Clark E Johnson Sr. Graduate of Jacksonville State University she taught children in all grades. Teaching in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Okinawa, Japan and finally landing in Leeds. She taught for a total of 38 years in the State of Alabama. Ever the educator in later life she taught her Sunday School Class at Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church. It will not go unnoticed by any of her colleagues that her passing coincides with the beginning of the summer break.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lucy Ann Harding. Survived by her daughter Elizabeth Estes (Craig), grandsons Jesse and Quin Estes, nephews David Johnson (Patsy) and Clark E Johnson Jr. (Rhonda). Funeral will take place Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church Viewing 10 am Funeral 11 am and burial to follow at Forrest Home United Methodist Church Cemetery in Boaz AL.
