Randolph Stephen Hardigree, Sr., 78, of Birmingham, Alabama, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Randy was a 1956 graduate of Shades Valley High School and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University in 1961. He graduated as 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army from the Auburn ROTC program and served in the military for two years following college. He retired in 1993 from Alabama Power Company as Vice President of Corporate Real Estate, having spent his entire career with the same company. Randolph Stephen Hardigree, Sr., 78, of Birmingham, Alabama, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Randy was a 1956 graduate of Shades Valley High School and received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University in 1961. He graduated as 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army from the Auburn ROTC program and served in the military for two years following college. He retired in 1993 from Alabama Power Company as Vice President of Corporate Real Estate, having spent his entire career with the same company. Mr. Hardigree is survived by his wife, Deanne Harrison Hardigree, his daughter, Deanne Lee Hardigree (Sharon), both of Birmingham, his son Randolph Stephen Hardigree, Jr. (Stacey), of LaGrange, Georgia, his three granddaughters, Billie Anne Hardigree, Mary Kathryn Hardigree, and Stevie Hardigree, his sister, Mary Ruth Moore of Watkinsville, Georgia, and his sister, Jeanne McKee (Jim) of Trussville, Alabama. There will be a graveside service at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo on Tuesday at 11am, Central Standard Time.
